I have always been captivated by creativity and color. My passion for art blossomed in my 30s when I took a watercolor class. Since then, I’ve explored various media, especially oil paint. which offers rich colors and textures. I am drawn to landscapes for their inspiring natural beauty and textures.  Engaging in creative pursuits brings me joy and tranquility.

I spent 15 years as an “Artist in the Classroom” teacher in the Grand Forks Public School System, crafting age-appropriate lessons aligned with state guidelines and the Elementary Art Curriculum. I also had the privilege of teaching art lessons at the International Music Camp for middle and high school students, fostering and encouraging free expression.

My work has included developing and teaching art therapy lessons for individuals with disabilities and adults through various occasions in North Dakota and Minnesota.

Now based in Hopkins, Minnesota, I’ve collaborated with organizations such as Young Rembrandts and area community centers, teaching art classes for all ages. I believe “There are no mistakes in art, only happy accidents,” and I love inspiring others to embrace their creativity, no matter their age!
